EWR is the code given by IATA to ‘newark liberty international airport’. It is the airport which serves the New Jersey area and is located only 15 miles from the main New York City. It is considered among the three main international airports of New York along with JFK and La Guardia.

If the person is traveling from New York City to the EWR then there will be an additional surcharge of $15. For private cars, the nearby parking lot at around $11 for a day is much cheaper than the airport one.
